ALTEN Mexico is a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group, a global leader in engineering and technology consulting. We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chassis Design & Release Engineer to join our team. The Chassis D&R Engineer is responsible for the component and system level design, development, validation, timing and production release of the following areas: chassis vehicle adaptation components (skid plates, tow hooks, trailer hitches, and winches), Steering Systems, Chassis suspension (cradles, crossmembers, and sub-frames), tire vehicle lines, Wheels and Wheel Trim. Requirements • Experience designing and developing on the following: --> Chassis components, Chassis structural parts, Steering systems, Suspension systems or overall Chassis (components or systems). • CAD experience with Unigraphics NX, Catia V5 and Teamcenter in vehicle packaging and design of components. • Experience/knowledge with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) and validation plans. • BoM's creation and edition. • Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and/or Reactive Green/Black Belt is a plus. • BIW in-plant launch experience is a plus. • CAE/Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) knowledge. • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training & Development Wellness Resources
