Logistics Assistant (Warehouse Support)

Responsibilities of the position:

·      Monitor the deliveries processors screen and create deliveries for the material that need to ship and perform Goods Issue and Receipt, block damaged goods, unblock when needed

·      Work with customer service representatives, inventory planners, logistics, and vendors to resolves issues and expedite orders if necessary

·      Review stock to make allocations on daily basis, inform CS about incomplete or blocked orders

·      follow up on expected inbound shipments, specially urgently needed for outbound orders, communicate urgency to agent

·      Arranging ‘express shipments'

·      Management of road carriers

·      Management of returns orders

·      Liaising with freight forwarders regarding outbound shipments

·      Preparing documents required for shipping

·      Updating the deliveries / shipments to acknowledge confirmation of shipping

·      Entering freight accruals

·      Inventory Administration

·      Generate Cyclic Inventories (monthly)

·      Generate Bussines Warehouse reports (quarterly)

·      Generate Wall to Wall (annual)

·      Generate KPI´s (monthly)

·      Help drive improvement projects within the supply chain.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

·      Education background or 1-3 years' experience in a similar position

·      Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken

·      Experience with Microsoft Office

·      Good understanding of the business process is a pre requisite, understanding the customer service, warehouse, production and logistics processes are an advantage

·      Strong problem-solving skills, natural curiosity, drive for efficiency

·      Experience with Warehouse Management Technology SAP & TMS
