Import Analyst

How You Will Make a Difference

The import analyst will be responsible for coordinating customs clearance process, including supervising customs broker activities , analyzing KPI´s and finding opportunities for continuous improvement.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5 years in Imports Processes, Information Analysis, desirable experience in customs broker´s offices. 

·      Advanced English is a MUST.

·      Proficient Personal Computer skills - Excel proficiency.

·      Strong knowledge of Customs regulations.

·      Knowledge of HTS Classification.

·      Carry out procedures before competent authorities.

·      Experience in apparel and footwear Imports regulations is preferred.

What you'll be doing:

·      Coordination and follow up of customs clearance activities with suppliers, customs brokers & other related service providers.

·      Review of documents for Customs: commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, duty guarantees, labeling requests.

·      HTS Classification.

·      Foreign Trade Record Keeping.

·      Customs regulations compliance.

·      Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements including review of Certificates of Origin.

·      Reporting, KPI´s presentations, Analysis of reports & KPIs.
