OBJECTIVE: Manages the production and packaging in order with productions orders, assigning all necessary sources for an on time delivering, according with productions standards, procedures, quality and costs.  

ROLE SUMMARY:

Responsible to Identify and analyze problems to achieve optimal solutions that satisfy cost and technical requirements using both internal and external resources. Formulate new, innovative approaches to solve problems on a consistent basis. Engage in personal and continuing program of learning in order to broaden knowledge in production to improve the individual and team effectiveness.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

• Supervises the production and packaging, in order with production orders.
• Provides technical supervision from supervisor to lower levels and be responsible for the staff administrative duties.
• Participate in the production and at the same time provide support when there is operators shortage and when there are changes in the products. 
• Measurement of downtime and corrective actions implementation.
• Monitoring in the implementation of projects to improve productivity.
• Ensure that the procedures applied in the production area are complied with.
• Encourages the continuous improvement of the area.
• Provides training to new joiners.
• Supports giving complying to EHS specifications. 
• Planning, manage and control the activities under his command, establishing the appropriate communication and coordination mechanisms with the different areas/departments of the Company, related with department function performance.
• Supervision and administration with employees in charge. 
• Communicates key information and recommendations to employees in charge.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Strong Knowledge in Production control, total productive maintenance, line production management, automotive material/product knowledge, Core Tools, IATF16949, ERP (Desirable EPICOR), Poka Yoke.

Value Stream Mapping.

Experience: at least 5 years as Production Manager. Desirable in Automotive Industry.

English Level: Advanced (This position Reports in English language).

Builds appropriate professional, friendly and accessible relationships with employees and line managers.

Desirable: Experience working in a multicultural environment.
