As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and driven team player to join our team (based in Mexico) as the Supply Chain Specialist in our Fresh to Frozen division.

Position Overview:

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for supporting the trade operations team that manages all the inbound and outbound movement of product sourced from international suppliers as well as our own processing plants. This position is a key role to support a smooth execution between supplier, plants and our internal and external customers. Constant communication with the key internal and external stakeholders, with core focus on excellent customer experience in working with Nature's Touch.

The successful candidate should be an effective communicator, have strong ability to execute and a sharp eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility for this position is to support a smooth execution of the inbound and outbound product flow within the business to our own product facilities, industrial and/or foodservice customers.
• Support in writing up contracts, PO's, call offs, order entry and releases

·      Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely releases, shipping documents, etc.

• Ensure fruit inventories get positioned adequately at the desired locations to meet monthly contract needs;
• Working closely with plants and customers to complete any international documentation, and/or other request to support the business.

·      Support in managing, resolving any issues/complaints that may arise

·      Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the organization's planning efforts.

·      Working with Finance to approve deductions and bill backs.

·      Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Supervisory Responsibilities:  

·      None

1. Minimum Qualifications:

·      Preferred Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Food Processing, or related field

1. Preferred Qualifications:  

·      Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in an international manufacturing environment or food processing

1. Knowledge and Skills:

·      Strong knowledge of food processing and packaging, international business, quality systems

·      Excellent sales management, communication, and collaboration skills

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·      Experience with project management tools and software

·      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
