About the Role

JLL is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support initiatives migrating and maintaining applications from on premise data centers to cloud environments. As part of this shift this role will be involved in updating existing deployment procedures using Azure DevOps pipelines, GitHub, and Octopus. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience working in Cloud environments in DevOps roles, Microsoft Azure experience is highly preferable. The candidate will join the DevOps team and will work closely with engineering and QA teams. This role requires partnering with global teams across JLL utilizing in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies and platform engineering experience. The right candidate will have a results and performance driven attitude with strong sense of accountability.

Position Responsibilities:

• Bring in continuous deployment best practices to improve our agility
• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Industry standard tools and services
• Write application deployment automation using industry standard deployment and configuration tools
• Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating both test and production environments
• Provide systems support including responding to monitoring alerts according to SLA requirements
• Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling
• Work with developers to identify necessary Azure resources and automate their provisioning
• Document automation processes
• CI/CD pipeline support (troubleshooting, support with setting up in new projects)
• Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive DevOps requirements
• Identify opportunities for process automation and drive an "always automate" mentality within the team.

Role Qualifications and Experience

Skills and Experience Required

• More than 5 years hands-on experience in DevOps roles
• Hands-on experience implementing continuous delivery and continuous integration solutions
• Strong hands-on expertise in diverse DevSecOps concepts and tools
• Act as a subject matter expert who can assess requirements, suggest the right tools and technologies, and implement solutions
• Hands on experience on Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker and Azure Container Registry
• Scripting in CLI, Python, PowerShell
• Strong networking experience
• Ability to provide solutions that addresses scalability, availability, service continuity (DR), performance, and security requirements.
• Expertise in Debugging and providing solutions and workarounds
• Knowledge on different monitoring and logging solutions available on Cloud, preferably on Azure
• Strong Terraform and helm experience
• Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and coding abilities
• Relevant cloud certifications (Microsoft Azure preferred)
