Responsibilities

The Senior Automation Analyst will be a technical resource for MES solutions. They will support the development, deployment and improvement of SCADA and MES systems and applications across North America using high level IGNITION plataform reporting to USA based manager.

Qualifications

Support the MES enterprise plan rollout, focusing on manufacturing use, adoption, and embedment

Development and modification of Allen Bradley PLC Machine Controls (Logix 5000, SLC 500, Panelview HMI)

Creation of Ignition, Vision and Perspective applications & templates to meet factory immediate needs

Utilization and deployment of SQL Databases, APIs (FastAPI), and BigQuery cloud environments

Creating PLC templates and frameworks to facilitate new machine integration into the MES platform

Work with highly technical teams of engineers, including vendors and contractors

Creation of Business Cases & RFQs (Request for Quote), and perform associated project management tasks

Work collaboratively with cross-functional peers to assess priorities and create robust and flexible technology solutions

Minimum requirements

Technical certification or college degree

4+ years experience in technical manufacturing implementation and execution

3+ years PLC programming and technical project execution experience

3+ Ignition developing skills

Preferred skills and experiences

Software Programming Experience (Python, Java, SQL, Angular, HTML, CSS)

Experience with Ignition MES software by Inductive Automation (Ignition 7.9 or 8.1)

Agile/Scrum experience, preferably, having used Jira

Networking experience as it applies to manufacturing and OT (Stratix, Cisco, Wireless Access Points, Vlans)
