Candidates will be based Mexico City Location, Apodaca, Cd Juarez, Guadalajara (Metropolitan Area); will also consider hybrid working arrangements. Must be comfortable with domestic and international travel.


• Delegate duties and tasks within the Networking department.

• Ensuring active network operation and high availability (switching, routing, WLAN, security, cloud)

• Monitor all team members and provide necessary advice and guidance.

• Monitoring and baselining of the network status. Identify and eliminate bottlenecks (Bandwidths, number of ports, KPIs, ...)

• Network monitoring / network management to detect and eliminate faults at an early stage.

• Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry.

• Perform regular IT audit to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them.

• Manage network infrastructure installations and upgrades in sites

• Network vendor(s)/contract support

• Testing, planning and operation of new network technologies and integration into the existing structure.

• Plan operational readiness and acceptance for new projects and configurations

• Support operation, manages Technician's activity, and resolves escalated issues

• Engage with contractor and define objectives on incident management

• Schedules routine preventive maintenance to avoid major incident and fault occurrence


EXPERIENCE

· Deep knowledge of common network technologies. (routing, switching, security, SD-WAN/LAN, VPN, WLAN, VoIP, QoS)

· Experience working with products from well-known network suppliers (Cisco, Forcepoint, McAfee, FortiNet)

· Advanced knowledge in the field of network analysis and troubleshooting (baselining, monitoring, protocol analysis)

· Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)

· Knowledge of Skype4Business and MS Teams

· Experience working with Microsoft Office, SAP, and Linux systems

· Independent self-starter

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· Strong team orientation

· Professional certifications (CCNA, CCDNA, CCNP)

• University degree in computer science or related fields
