Eaton's ES AMER PCS PCD division is currently seeking a Senior Opex Engineer. What you'll do: FUNCION PRINCIPAL Improve operational efficiency and effectiveness within Eaton's manufacturing facilities. analyze processes, identify waste, and implement solutions to streamline operations using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives. FUNCIONES ESENCIALES 1. Provide maintenance and technical support to homegrown systems in O365 (e.g. material request system, replenishment system, etc). 2. Provide maintenance and technical support to the reports are running on Power BI Service such as: Programa Kaizen y Sugerencia, Action Tracker, Allocation Tracker Report, ECO's Report, Project Portfolio 3. Report, Bussmann Santiago Load Performance Report and Manload performance. 4. Define, implement, and refine continuous improvement initiatives as an internal coach and change agent. 5. Operate with a sense of urgency to provide tangible improvements in needed areas through lean laboratories and six sigma best practices. 6. Communicate effectively with numerous stakeholders to foster a sense of collaborative improvement 7. Educate stakeholders at front line and supervisory levels in the tools and principles of Operational Excellence including, but not limited to Waste Identification, 5S, Structured Problem Solving, Tiered Communications, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, OPEX Leadership, and Maintenance Excellence 8. Analyze and identify opportunities in process / area performance data (e.g., bottleneck analysis, level loading, process mapping) 9. Function as a coordinator and facilitator for OPEX projects 10. Apply Lean principles and experience to support plant initiatives 11. Develop detailed OPEX project plans for multidisciplinary teams in targeted areas across functions and groups 12. Support OPEX events / general problem solving (including but not limited to Kaizen events, operator and supervisor coaching, training, tier system rollouts) 13. Provide support and ownership for CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), investigations, and change controls if needed 14. Identify areas for improvement in existing front-line operations and processes 15. Provide coaching to shop floor employees and supervisors through Gemba Walks, 1:1 discussions, root cause analysis and group interactions 16. Help maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, reducing overall operating costs and increasing Quality 17. Aid in training of operations and maintenance personnel 18. Effectively interact with other groups / functions including Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, MST, and Validation 19. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Manage medium and large projects 2.1 - Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS): 1. Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with MESH Coordinator. 2. Assist to all EHS training assigned. 3. Close the 80% of actions request for safety in their areas Qualifications: 1. Bachelor degree of Industrial, Electromechanical or Electrical Engineer or similar careers. 2. Experience of 5-8 years in similar positions. 3. Full Bilingual (English / Spanish). 4. Desirable: Green Belt/Black Belt Certify 5. PC knowledge: Auto Cad, Access, Minitab, and Microsoft Office. 6. Knowledge of Design Interpretation. 7. Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and ISO9001. 8. Knowledge of project management and problem-solving techniques. 9.
