In your role, you will
- Supervise employees and ensure compliance with department processes.
- Execute the department's plan following operational standards, ensuring execution according to the master plan (short and medium term).
- Exercise leadership in alignment with Bombardier's vision and values.
- Communicate the latest Master Program revision and ensure clear and comprehensive understanding within the company, also informing about future impacts.
- Provide guidance, alignment, and influence to your reports and customer impact priorities.
- Lead the execution of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Develop, monitor, and publish results of indicators related to the sales and operations plan.
- Participate alongside the Bombardier Aerospace Integrated Master Planning Council for harmonizing Master changes.
- Negotiate with other sites or internal customers on master programs that meet customer requirements and operational needs.
- Discuss and advise in moderate to complex situations.
- Coordinate the calculation process for operational staff to meet the Master Program.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources and Finance team for site Headcount generation and decision-making regarding operator recruitment.
- Work with the Finance team for budget and forecast exercises. Optimize the department's budget.
- Develop strategies in conjunction with the Logistics and Industrial Engineering teams to reduce inventories.
- Lead the performance and development of your employees (recruitment, performance evaluations or PMPs, alignment, disciplinary measures, and separations), acting as a source of information for recommendations and references to managers.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, standards, and procedures.
- As an advisor to other team members, you will guide them on the core processes of the team.
As our ideal candidate
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in production planning areas.
- 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a similar industry.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Logistics Engineering, or related fields.
- Spanish & advanced English proficiency: French is desirable.
- Experience in production line balancing, capacity calculation at workstations, and production planning at both the Master Planning and detailed planning levels.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, Project, or planning, administration, and tracking software.
