Descripción

We are looking for a professional to join our team for the position of Operations General Manager.


Profile:

Responsible for achieving the objectives of the operation to meet the indicators established for the plant, seeking to improve the performance and profitability of the Plant.

 

Supervise the Production Control systems that guarantee customer satisfaction, within the framework of the Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental laws required by the organization.

Talent development for succession planning, taking care of a positive work environment and diversity and inclusion.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws and logistics standards within the framework of the code of conduct, ensuring compliance with customer requirements under the management system of quality, safety, environment and internal control, always taking care of the sustainability of the company, customers and social environment.

Responsible for leading and achieving the objectives of:


  • Present strategic operations plan to management, to meet operational and financial objectives in conjunction with the Staff group.
  • Track strategic and operational indicators for Maintenance, Tooling, Logistics, Production and Engineering.
  • Monitor the main plant indicators focused on Safety, Environmental and Customer Satisfaction; taking corrective and/or improvement actions on a continuous basis.
  • Supervise the levels of the raw material procurement process, as well as, finished product inventory in quality and deadline conditions, ensuring the follow up to the inventory level policies.
  • Team synergy between management, focused on operational results and service areas.
  • Collaborate in obtaining Quality, Safety and Environmental Certifications, as well as specific customer requirements.
  • Manage and optimize resources such as: line performance, scrap, financial indicators, production schedule compliance, preventive maintenance and operational indicators based on the deployment of plant objectives.
  • Customer specific requirements (Stellantis, VW & AUDI, GM, NISSAN, DAIMLER).


Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience with automotive industry quality systems.
