In this role, you should be able to develop the overall architecture of a vehicle harness
based on best practices and technical policies while ensuring compliance with all the
applicable regulations and customer requirements. Investigate new solutions for harness
simplification on innovative features or new technologies and benchmarking.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Participate on technical and economical harness RFI (Request for Information) for
supplier and RFI synthesis.
• Carry out of technical and economical harness impact report for innovation and
benchmarking.
• Investigate harness impacts reports for strategic studies.
• Contribute to the evolution of the harness golden design/validation/safety rules.
• Ensure application of processes, technical design standards and essential business.
requirements.
• Dimension the physical and thermo-electrical architecture of the harness (strand size,
number of wires, cable sections).
• Design harness cutting considering the diversity and upgrade of EE Architectures.
• Produce/manage the production of 2D harness plans and 3D components in vehicle
environment.
• Propose changes to electrical architectures for cost and feasibility optimization.

• Engineer level
• 5+ years of experience in automotive design
• 8+ years in EES domain
• Knowledge on wiring harness manufacturing process
• Knowledge on automotive electrical arquitecture, schematics and 3D/2D harness
design
• Knowledge of tools used within the area: CAD design, Capital XC, Ophelie, etc
• English C1
