Responsibilities:

 

The direction and control of the operations to achieve corporate objectives for production and quality, as well as meeting all established requirements for regulatory compliance, safety and efficiency. The focus of this job is on achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and its strategic goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. Because environmental and organizational conditions change rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response. Decision-making is focused on implementing practical, timely solutions. The job requires getting things done quickly and handling a variety of activities. 


Background:

 

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or other related field of study is required. Master's Degree preferred. 

 

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable. 

 

5 - 10 years of demonstrated leadership with a manufacturing facility employing a minimum of 200 employees. Note: this level of experience is ideal; however, we are open to talking with other qualified candidates with less experience who can grow/evolve with the organization as we expand in phases.

 

Knowledge and experience with lean-manufacturing methodologies including successful conversion of a plant to a lean-manufacturing work environment. 

 

M3, or similar ERP experience, is also required. 

 

Other specific manufacturing experience required or preferred includes: ISO 13485 experience 

 

Experience in medical device manufacturing of Class 1 devices 

 

Strong process manufacturing experience 

 

§ Successful experience in integrating new products into the manufacturing process

 

Knowledge, experience, and proven adaptability with different manufacturing disciplines Logistics and customs experience required. 

 

Fluent in Spanish and English

 

Knowledge of textile/sewing processes

 

Knowledge of composite material manufacturing processes preferred

 

Ability to interact with local authorities

 

Ability to follow production transfer projects from USA to Mexico
