Important food business, currently looking for: Construction Project Manager, Located in Dolores de Hidalgo:
Construction Project Manager Position Requirements:
• Degree in Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture
• 10 years of project management experience within construction
• Feel comfortable reading and understanding plans and drawings.
• Use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and computer programs in general
• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of construction, engineering, and architecture.
· Excellent ability to work autonomously, self-starter/finisher, highly organized, and committed to doing what the project requires for success.
· Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate and control costs
• High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms and conditions
· Identify potential problems and/or risk issues; then recommend and implement solutions.
• Good leadership and management skills
· Current MX passport required or the ability to obtain one in a reasonable timeframe.
Responsibilities of a Construction Project Manager:
• Determine and define the scope of work and project documentation.
• Predict and manage the resources needed to complete the project.
• Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
• Write and send the budget according to the scope of work and the necessary resources.
• Manage all financial information to meet budget requirements
• Provide instructions and management of contracts, subcontracts & change orders.
• Manage construction schedule and activities.
• Prepare progress updates as necessary regarding costs and deadlines
• Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
• Select and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Coordinate efforts throughout the project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
