We are looking for a Automation and Controls Engineer

Activities

• Support and troubleshooting for automation systems

• Perform routine maintenance and service checks remotely.

• Analyze existing automation systems and propose upgrades and implementation.

• Develop and maintain SCADA systems.

• Contribute to the design and planning of automation solutions for various projects.

• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences regarding automation solutions.

• Specify automation hardware and software required for project implementations.

• Design electrical control systems based on project requirements.

• Develop reports and integrate with relevant systems.

• Plan and execute PLC system programming.

• Participate in defining project scope, deliverables, and expected outcomes.

• Offer ongoing production support.

• Interpret equipment specifications into detailed designs and BOMs.

• Develop electrical design, schematics, and drawings.

• Support of existing equipment designs.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment technologies.

 Technical Skills

• PLC programming

•Configuring and designing HMI systems.

•Familiar with vCognex, Keyence

•Familiar with motion controllers and actuators (IAI, Yasakawa).

•Strong command of system design software (LabVIEW, TestStand, C++, etc).

•Prior schematic capture/PCB generation experience in CAD software.

•Exposure to various test equipment architectures (VXI, PXI, Rack and Stack, etc).

•Strong knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, CAN, Profibus).

•Electronic circuit knowledge

•Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

•Basic understanding of UL61010-1 Standard, NFPA 79, National Electric Code.

•Travel 30% of the time required
