High Level Mission Statement
Responsible for the company and materials department
metrics to perform the KEMX business goals as PDSOH, OTD
and Sales metrics thru the analysis of materials to support
customer demand.
High Level Statement of the Role
Responsible for the load demand into SAP to ensure
availability of components and is responsible for the analysis
and communication of the demand fluctuation to create the
production plans based in customer needs.
High Level Roles & Responsibilities
• Authority to report risks regarding OH&S
concerns.
• Execute and validate the load demand from
customer, PM or EDI into SAP to drive the
purchasing of components
• Execute the maintenance of the production plan
into SAP by product family to generate demand.
• Execute the MRP lights to align plan orders into
SAP to avoid excess or obsolete materials.
• Create Water falls to track demand fluctuation or
EOL to communicate excess/obsolete values to
management. Also to provide information for the
analysis of future capacity needs.
• Create and communicate the weekly production
plans for SMT and BE manufacture lines.
• Create weekly reports for the management and
PM's to communicate progress in the production
plans to perform monthly sales and OTD.
• Provide to the customer the commits or shipping
plans according the availability of materials thru
meetings or customer portals.
• Implement a system to track ECO to drive arrival
of new components and avoid obsolescence thru
break point dates.
• Guide the purchasing group with weekly and
monthly square sets to prioritize expedition of
components.
• Support PM's groups to fulfil the SOP reports and
defect variations vs SAP.
• Participate in NPI meetings to load future demand,
and provide maintenance of new models, include
the creation of product versions, update planning
data, maintain the product group.
• Participate in RMA process in SAP according the
direction provided.
• Create shipping list to process daily shipments
according carriers and customer guidelines.
• Participate in KEMX culture for savings as
kaizens, VSM, value ideas programs, etc.
• Supports the Vision and Guiding Principles and
other policies of Kimball Electronics Mexico
• Comply with all Safety, Electrostatic Discharge
(ESD) and Quality Management System (QMS)
requirements
