ESSENTIAL RESPONSABILITIES:
• Provides project leadership to improve existing products and associated manufacturing
processes
• Support the selection and validation of replacement materials
• Write and revise assembly procedures and work instructions for manufacturing, and provide the
oversight to implement such procedures
• Identify and provide innovative new manufacturing technologies from industry best practices
• Manage innovation projects
• Partner with the new product development community to provide technology assessment and
supplier technical support, supporting new product development, designing and overseeing
experiments, applying statistical analyses to evaluate results and preparing technical reports
• Act as a liaison between R&D, Technical Support and Operations to ensure design changes for
raw materials are developed appropriately for a manufacturing environment
• Partner with internal and external teams to develop mechanical solutions
• Work with and lead test and development teams in conducting DOEs to understand and
optimize processes testing reliability and robustness

SKILS
• Fluent conversational English 80%
• Design For Manufacturing skills are preferred
• Strong analytical skills to identify solutions to technical issues, risks and prepare balanced
decisions are essential
• Ability to manage multiple projects and project deadlines and work independently
• Great hands-on ability and mechanical aptitude and experience in machine shop and hands on
fabrication
• Oversee, prepare and review of product design documents, Drawings, BOMs, Technical
Specifications, Over-Pressure Protection Reports and Design / Stress Reports
• Review and approve specifications for rotating equipment (pumps, vacuum pumps,
compressors, agitators)
• Relevant experience using 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
• Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and performing statistical
tolerance analysis

EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
• 5 + years' experience in Mechanical engineer provides guidance, review and design certification of mechanical designs, stress analysis, fabrication drawings and Bill of Materials.
• Design for plastic injection molding and sheet metal fabrication
• Pro-actively resolving critical design, manufacturing, quality and reliability issues
• Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineer)
