Professional Qualification
- Commercial and /or technical training
- Engineer or economist with degree specializing in materials management/purchasing with a strong technical understanding
- Experience in the specialist's area of expertise: Project management, budget planning and supplier development.
- Negotiating skills and guaranteed completion that have grown steadily in contract negotiations with national and international partners
- Product and market knowledge
- PC/DP (Microsoft Excel and Power point) skills - also SAP R3
- English language skills
- Willingness for customer-oriented cooperation in project management teams
- Understand APQP, PDIP and Gate review process
Main Task
- Market analysis, bid comparisons, processing of orders and invoices
- Maintain project budget to achieve cost saving goal
- Detection of synergy potentials
- Preparation of project strategies for new project
- Co-operate with commodity and series buyers to meet timing and expected company goal
- Preparation/completion of the necessary contract documents
- Awarding contracts, in accordance with existing corporate policies
- Developing supplier strategies
- Maintenance and development of important customer-supplier relationships
- Processing of complaints from escalation level
- Initiation and monitoring of supplier development measures
- Commitment to achieving the savings targets and responsible for the corresponding continuous improvement programs in the context of purchasing goals
- Preparation/completion of the necessary BET, RFQ and project review documents
- Support and participation in projects
- Personnel planning and management of subordinate employees
- Maintain C-place and ishare for new and current project
