ROLE SUMMARY:

With more than 1,800 students, The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM), an Inspired school, currently has 3 campuses in Monterrey's metropolitan area: 2 campuses in San Pedro and 1 campus in Santa Catarina.

Valle Campus provides full services from Pre-nursery through 9th grade.
Chipinque Campus provides services from Pre-nursery through 5th grade.
Huasteca Campus - offers 6th through 12th grades.

Our spiral and trans-disciplinary curriculum, coupled with a healthy degree of student choice and accountability, pursues that our students develop and attain mastery of the 21st century skills through the development of Authentic Products and Services that have a positive impact in their community. This Authentic Products and Services are developed during students' specialized Academy classes in Engineering and Technology, Laboratory and Research, Business and Management as well as Arts and Humanities.

The key purpose of this position is to support and contribute to customer service experience and to the smooth running of the campus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome visitors and respond to telephone and email enquiries, assuring appropriate and timely manner responses and actions.
  • Register all campus visitors following safeguarding procedures.
  • Support the communication with parents and teachers regarding all aspects of school life.
  • Manage both incoming and outgoing mail and arrange special deliveries when requested.
  • Ensure that the Principal Office area is kept clean and in order.
  • Support the Admissions and Public Relations Department service attending prospect, new parents and students.
  • Use systems and programs to support administrative duties.
  • Registration and follow up student absences.
  • Order stationery, materials and resources, keep stock records and manage effectively for internal events and Principal Office needs.
  • Support the preparation and publication of campus Newsletter and other school notices, posters, etc.
  • Responsible of the e-organizer agenda regarding campus events, meetings, etc.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Secretary, Administration, customer service, or similar degree.
  • 3-year experience of working in a Reception or office administration, customer service, and/or event organization.
  • Experience in handling confidential information, organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving approach, calm manners to work under pressure, teamwork.
  • Private school work experience (desirable)
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Use of technology
  • Advanced English
