The Role
As the Aviation Risk & Insurance Lead, you will be responsible for managing and securing aviation insurance policies, financial lines, property coverage, and surety bonds.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance (required).
Proficiency in English
Microsoft Office and Power BI.
Available to travel.
Available to work onsite in Santa Fe.
Preferably, prior knowledge of insurance and bonds.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate, secure, and manage aviation and financial lines insurance policies, ensuring proper coverage validation, service level compliance, and claims performance to optimize policy outcomes and meet regulatory requirements.
Lead negotiations with international brokers and insurance providers.
Manage claims effectively, coordinating with internal stakeholders, adjusters, and legal teams to prepare claim files, quantify losses, review settlement adjustments, and recover damages.
Review insurance and bond clauses in company contracts, recommending modifications when necessary to reduce financial exposure.
Manage surety bond policies in compliance with current governmental regulations.
Generate statistical reports to improve processes and decision-making.
