Location: Puebla, Mexico

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for precision and performance in supply chain operations? Join a global leader in motion and be the driving force behind demand planning and inventory optimization for key Automotive OEMs in Mexico.
As our Supply Chain Planner, you'll be responsible for forecasting, demand management, and supply planning across a portfolio of automotive products. Your mission: ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining lean, efficient inventory levels.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a sharp analytical mindset to every challenge.
Responsibilities
Forecasting and Planning
Maintain 18-month forecasts for parts and finished goods using historical data, customer EDI, and portals.
Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to align forecasts and support annual business planning.
Set safety stock levels and meet KPIs for forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory targets.
Demand Management
Identify and respond to abnormal demand patterns.
Lead allocation decisions during supply constraints.
Recommend strategies to reduce slow-moving inventory and support long-term capacity planning.
Supply Planning
Monitor product parameters and execute timely orders using internal systems.
Issue purchase/supply orders or support factory planners for direct customer pickups.
Resolve supply chain issues through proactive cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain operations
- Supply Chain Management problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with planning systems and ERP tools
- High initiative, ownership, and energy
- Ability to build relationships across departments and with external stakeholders
Preferred Extras
- APICS Certification Experience with Microsoft BI or similar data visualization tools
