Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed production schedules for machining cells based on demand, lead times, and capacity.

Monitor work orders, material availability, and production progress to ensure schedule adherence.

Collaborate with production teams to adjust schedules and resolve conflicts or bottlenecks.

Analyze production capacity and support planning decisions related to shifts, overtime, or outsourcing.

Interface with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and tooling.

Support MES or ERP implementation and use for production visibility and scheduling control.

Maintain accurate routings, lead times, and planning parameters in ERP/MES systems.

Participate in cross-functional planning meetings and support S&OP processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

3+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations, preferably in machining or aerospace.

Strong understanding of production workflows, capacity planning, and shop floor coordination.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) for order management and scheduling.

Ability to interpret routings, BOMs, and basic engineering documentation.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Bilingual in English and Spanish (professional working proficiency required).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in aerospace manufacturing with knowledge of AS9100 requirements.

Familiarity with MES systems or digital scheduling tools.

Working knowledge of machining lead times, setup times, and takt time concepts.

Experience supporting production ramp-up or new product introductions (NPIs).
