The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and drive all supply chain operations at a new manufacturing site specializing in Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems for the aerospace industry. Description
- Lead and manage all supply chain functions: planning, operational procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, customs, and supplier relationships.
- Build and develop the site's supply chain team, including direct leadership of planning, purchasing, warehouse, and inbound/outbound logistics
- Drive the implementation and maturity of SIOP (Sales & Operations Planning) and MPS (Master Production Schedule) processes.
- Ensure material availability to support production ramp-up and avoid bottlenecks.
- Optimize inventory levels and turnover, aligning with site productivity and delivery goals.
- Monitor and improve supply chain KPIs such as OTD, DIFOT, inventory days, and planning accuracy.
- Manage shop floor planning and scheduling to maximize output, line occupancy, and throughput.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, NADCAP) and export control regulations (ITAR/EAR).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and finance to align supply chain processes with project time lines.
Profile
A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years in supply chain management, ideally in aerospace, automotive, or defense industries
- Experience in production ramp-up and new site launches
- Advanced English, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
