A leading company in the automotive sector is seeking to hire a highly analytical and results-driven Materials Planner with experience in inventory management, strategic planning, and supplier negotiation at both national and international levels.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Over 3 years of experience in materials planning within the automotive industry.
• Advanced Excel skills (databases, charts, reports).
• Experience with ERP systems (IScala is a plus).
• Business-level English proficiency.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Fully results-oriented, especially in planning and inventory value control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely follow-up on material deliveries and shipments.
• Coverage analysis and management of critical materials.
• Purchase planning based on demand and component-level forecasting for suppliers.
• Participation in meetings with plant management, operations, and internal teams.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers, especially in Asia.
• Monitoring of key performance indicators: inventory value, material coverage, global supply impacts.
• Management of maritime shipments (ASIA/EUR) and land shipments (CAN/USA/MEX).
• Strategic material planning: daily, weekly, monthly, and annual.
• Assertive communication with Production Planning, Receiving, and Traffic departments to ensure timely and accurate material availability.
• Follow-up on engineering changes; weekly meetings with the New Projects department.
• System updates: Safety Stock, MOQ, Lead Time, Planner Codes, Prices, etc.
• Management of component transfers and supplier changes: calculation of safety banks, clean points, and implementation dates.
