Accounting Analyst - GTCX

At GTCX, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining our accounting records, performing monthly book closings, and generating key reports for decision-making. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Comprehensive management of accounting operations.
• Recording and tracking vendor invoices.
• Performing monthly accounting closings and month-end procedures for various areas (Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Petty Cash).
• Calculating and tracking maquila invoices.
• Recording payroll and federal taxes.
• Generating financial reports and analysis for management.
• Following up and recording bank transfers and vendor payments.

What we are looking for:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
• Technical Skills:
• Solid experience in cash management and treasury operations.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and vendor negotiation.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• General knowledge of Mexican Tax Laws and payroll procedures.
• Intermediate English level.
• Key Abilities:
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Proactive, with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
• Capacity to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Salary: $11,000 - $13,000 MXN per month, plus bonuses.
• Availability: Full-time.
• Location: [Monterrey, N.L.].
