ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are currently looking for a Digital Collections Specialist (Full Time) to join our growing team who will be responsible for handling digital collections, soft collections, fraud detection, and maintaining a results-oriented approach.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle inbound customer calls following up on emails sent to clients.
- Manage assigned clients for collection calls.
- Report suspicious activities related to fraud across different countries.
- Work independently on assigned accounts and focus on specific areas.
- Identify when to apply pressure and deal with defensive clients in a professional manner.
- Soft collections with a results-driven approach, ensuring targets are met.
- Analyze data through Excel spreadsheets, including pivot tables.
- Work with systems and manage multitasking effectively.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in digital collections, reconciliations, or similar roles.
- Proven experience in soft collections with a focus on customer relations and negotiation.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data.
- Ability to handle fraud-related issues and manage sensitive conversations with clients.
- Strong communication skills and negotiation abilities.
- Must be proactive, results-oriented, and able to deal with customers in a defensive position.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Spanish is not required for half of the client interactions, as many clients do not speak Spanish.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay focused under pressure.
- Extroverted personality with a customer-oriented mindset.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Temporary for 3 months, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance.
- Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST.
