Position Summary:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting operations of the company, ensuring full compliance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and tax regulations. This role includes leading the accounting team, coordinating the preparation of financial statements, monthly reports, and audits. Previous experience in companies handling import and export operations, especially machinery or capital goods, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the accounting department, ensuring compliance with Mexican tax obligations.

Prepare and review financial statements under Mexican GAAP (NIF).

Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns before SAT.

Coordinate internal and external audits.

Manage accounting and tax aspects of import and export operations.

Oversee budgets, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.

Supervise company payments as part of Treasury responsibilities.

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with SAT and other regulatory authorities.

Collaborate with Treasury, Purchasing, and Logistics to integrate financial processes.

Report financial results to top management in both Spanish and English.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting.

Previous role as an Accounting Manager.

Strong knowledge of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and tax compliance.

Proven experience in tax filings, bank reconciliations, and company payments.

Experience in companies with import and export operations.

Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.

Advanced English skills (spoken and written).
