As a Senior Corporate Accountant, your key role is to support core accounting processes, financial analysis, and internal reporting, ensuring all financial statements comply with US GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations. You will manage diverse transaction types, tax-related matters, G&A expenses, and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy.
Prepare working papers to support the financial reporting process in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
Analyze financial data to provide insights and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Provide quality checks and feedback on work from team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
3-5 years of experience in public accounting or within a large corporate enterprise; real estate and international experience a plus
Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) proficiency
Advanced expertise in US GAAP and IFRS standards.
Advanced communication and written skills in both Spanish and English.
Strong aptitude for financial systems and IT tools.
Adaptable and flexible when priorities shift, and will demonstrate initiative and ownership.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPC is a plus.
