Our team in Mexico is growing; we are currently recruiting a Civil Designer to join our project delivery business line in the Mexico, Hermosillo office.

About the role

• Prepare and develop civil design drawings and models focused on earthworks, grading, drainage, and site development.
• Work with engineers and project managers to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate deliverables.
• Produce detailed plans, profiles, and cross-sections for roads, platforms, stormwater systems, and other infrastructure related to land development.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure design integration.
• Support in the preparation of quantity take-offs and construction documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving and optimization of design solutions.

About you

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in civil design with a focus on earthworks and land development.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfraWorks, or similar.
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and earthworks design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, topographic surveys, and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
