Streamline is seeking a highly skilled, full-stack Senior Fullstack Developer specializing in PHP with PostgreSQL. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing best-in-class solutions while working with an energetic and innovative team. You will take ownership of developing RESTful services, implementing changes to the database and service models, creating new modules, and developing integrations with 3rd party platforms PHP with PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have expert level skills in native PHP (not just PHP frameworks), NodeJS, and a solid understanding of PostgreSQL (PostgreSQL certification strongly preferred). You will develop modern, high-load client-side web applications, adapt code bases to modern requirements, maintain current modules, and create new ones. The ideal candidate will know how to use React and JavaScript/Typescript to implement frontend components.

What You'll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
§ Develop, troubleshoot and maintain application code for existing applications primarily on the backend and comfort contributing to and utilizing React components on the frontend.
§ Collaborate with team in defining architecture; implement data contracts; identify and proactively advise on potential risks to success
§ Design, develop and test new modules throughout their life cycle - Translate design vision provided by the management team
§ Learn, understand and use PHP and JavaScript frameworks used by the application; contribute to development, troubleshooting and maintenance of custom framework as needed
§ Write highly performant SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers in PostgreSQL at scale
§ Manage application dependencies
§ Work with Q/A team to develop and maintain regression and unit testing platform
§ Research and recommend changes to management team to improve application and user experience
§ Follow coding conventions, policies and procedures provided
Qualifications
What We're Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
§ 6+ years preferable of development experience with strong preference for PHP in high-load systems.
§ 3+ years experience with PostgreSQL, query profiling and optimization skills. PostgreSQL certification preferred.
§ Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/ReactJS
§ Cloud development experience in Azure or AWS.
§ Solid experience with PHP, REST services, Bash scripting, Data Design/Modeling.
§ experience using Git/GitHub, and using proper branch management in a large team.
Preferably:
Experience with mobile/responsive design.
Experience architecting and developing large scale design.
Experience architecting and developing microservices.
Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Solid experience with caching engines (i.e. Memcache or Redis)
Preferred experience with managed queues services (i.e. RabbitMQ or Kafka)
Education Requirements
§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
§ DBA courses (Postgres/Oracle) - certificate of Professional level desired.
Schedule: Working from office Monday to Thrusday, working from home on Fridays
Location: Hermosillo or Guadalajara.
