At RDT Mexico we are looking for a cooling tower supervisor.
Position Overview:
Candidate will be integrated in the construction department as part of RDT E&C division and will be based in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the installation of structures and equipment;
- Ensure all necessary materials are available and comply with project specifications;
- Schedule tasks and allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines;
- Ensure and coordinate that all necessary materials are ordered, delivered, and meet project specifications;
- Supervise construction subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols;
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials used in construction;
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with design specifications and standards;
- Interpret technical drawings, and specifications to guide construction activities;
- Oversee the proper assembly and installation of steel structures and equipment;
- Ensure alignment, fit, and structural integrity are maintained;
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries;
- Ensure all activities comply with local, national, and international regulations;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practice;
- Maintain effective communication with Site Manager and clients;
- Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions;
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, including progress, delays, and any changes made;
- Maintain accurate records of materials, labour, and equipment used;
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction and installation;
- Develop and implement solutions to overcome obstacles and keep the project on track;
- Adjust plans and schedules as needed to accommodate unforeseen challenges;
- Ensure flexibility and responsiveness to changing project requirements.
Experience
- At least 5 years of work experience in industrial plants (preferred experience: Power, Oil & Gas, Refining or Petrochemical industries).
- Knowledge in FRP materials, and erection of Cooling Towers with FRP cells is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge of Spanish or English
- Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Good communicator and excellent team player
- Good reporting skills
- Solid skills in coordinating and supervising a construction team

- Candidate should be available to relocate to the construction site.
