Details of the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Azure DevOps Architect to lead our cloud-native transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, DevOps tools, and modern application architectures. This role demands strong leadership, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.
Key responsibilities:
· Design, deploy, and manage scalable workloads using Azure Container Apps.
· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
· Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
· Ensure application performance, availability, and cost optimization within Container Apps environments.
· Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
· Collaborate with developers to support modern microservices and event-driven architectures.
· Apply best practices in cloud security, networking, and IAM within Azure.
· Lead DevOps initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 5 years in Azure cloud environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of Azure Container Apps, Azure DevOps, and related services.
- Strong understanding of containers, microservices, and serverless patterns.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
- Excellent scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-305, or equivalent are preferred.
Good to have skills:
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, or Logic Apps.
- Familiarity with secure software supply chain practices, including container scanning and SBOMs.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
