The Purchasing Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing Department, ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services required by the company. This role requires a strong command of English for communication with international suppliers, contract management, and documentation purposes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
2-3 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role (manufacturing industry experience is a plus).
Fluent in English (spoken and written) – mandatory requirement.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and issuance of purchase orders and contracts.
Communicate with suppliers to request quotations, confirm orders, and follow up on deliveries.
Maintain and update supplier records, price lists, and procurement databases.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure purchase requirements are met.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service.
Prepare purchasing reports and assist in cost analysis.
