This role is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. It involves managing a team, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide efficient and effective Accounts Payable support with a high standard of customer service through relationship management with internal colleagues and external vendors.
Ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner and effectively communicate with others by responding to queries in all global regions.
Validate invoices, check for exceptions, and make adjustments as needed.
Ensure Vendor Statements of Account are reconciled monthly.
Set up vendor accounts, and capture required information in conjunction with the Accounts Payable Manager and Accountants.
Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Promote and support a passionate customer-driven culture by ensuring a strong focus on delivery and execution to the wider internal and external customers.
Complete Ad-hoc duties and projects as requested.
Process payments on the regularly scheduled days of the month for vendors and ensure all invoices are paid timely in an efficient and accurate manner.
Process FX Purchases and ensure they will be applied and paid accordingly.
Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, providing training and support to ensure high performance.
Organize and schedule Daily/Weekly Management meetings to share key department measures.
Who you are
Bilingual proficiency required with fluency in English.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively in English.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external business customers and suppliers.
2+ years Accounts Payable Knowledge
High attention to detail and accuracy as data entry is a critical component of the role.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and meet agreed deadlines.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude combined with an ability to take initiative and work autonomously without supervision.
Willingness to be flexible and dedicated to meeting reporting deadlines.
Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume department.
