We are an international company seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Image Processing / Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced image processing and machine learning solutions that power our AI-native platforms. You will work on complex visual analysis tasks, including CAD feature detection, OCR integration, and semantic search, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, high-performance solutions.

Your expertise in computer vision, NLP, and software engineering will be essential in delivering cutting-edge automation tools that improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience across our products.

Key Responsibilities:

· Own and evolve the image processing pipeline, including CAD feature detection, anomaly identification, and OCR integration.

· Develop and deploy ML models, including NLP-based semantic search and recommendation engines.

· Collaborate with frontend engineers to create interactive visualizations reflecting ML outputs.

· Transition backend services from Flask to FastAPI where needed for scalability.

· Optimize algorithms for specialized hardware such as GPUs, DSPs, or custom ASICs.

· Perform image and video quality evaluations using objective and subjective metrics.

· Manage the full ML lifecycle—from data collection to deployment and monitoring.

· Stay current with the latest advancements in ML, CV, and NLP, and integrate relevant innovations.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Outstanding verbal and written English skills (C1 level or higher).

· 5+ years of experience in Python-based image processing and ML workflows.

· Proven expertise in OpenCV, Tesseract OCR, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

· Experience deploying and scaling computer vision and ML pipelines in production.

· Strong backend development skills (Flask, FastAPI) and containerization experience (Docker/Kubernetes).

· Familiarity with NLP techniques, semantic search, and recommendation systems.

· Experience with hardware-software co-design for optimized performance.

· Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Imaging Science, Machine Learning, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).

· Proven track record in developing and optimizing image processing or computer vision algorithms.

· Experience with databases (Postgres, MySQL) and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP) is a plus.

· Knowledge of ISP pipelines, CMOS sensor technology, or CAD file workflows is an advantage.
