In this role, you will work among engineering teams to develop cutting-edge software solutions. We are seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to work with various clients at our delivery center in Mexico. Our mission at Apex Systems is providing Insights that Inspire. In this role you will help achieve that mission by giving our clients consultative guidance and technical expertise.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Support ongoing refreshes across retail and logistics sites.
Troubleshoot client-side performance or RF anomalies.
Track and implement hardware upgrades (e.g., AP swap-outs, firmware updates).
Maintain documentation on coverage and performance testing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience in infrastructure/Network Engineer
Hands-on Cisco wireless experience
Familiarity with Ekahau, Seven Signals, and RF tuning.
Understanding of RF propagation, channel planning, and wireless security (WPA2/WPA3).
Knowledge of wireless standards
Strong Cisco AP and controller experience.
Capable of working with remote hands or FEs for rollout support.
Detail-oriented with good troubleshooting instincts.
