JOB SUMMARY
Ensure that all assembled lifting platforms meet internal quality standards and comply with applicable regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, AWS, ASME). Lead quality assurance initiatives across the assembly line, focusing on defect prevention, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO standards and other relevant industry regulations. Ensure all quality processes and procedures are thoroughly documented, communicated clearly, and strictly adhered to. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Inspection and Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to detect and address defects or non-conformities, adjusting procedures as needed to address emerging issues.
- Customer Satisfaction: Manage customer satisfaction and quality-related processes. Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and increasing efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Utilize quality tools such as the 8D problem-solving method, Fishbone diagrams, Lean Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to conduct root cause analysis in case of non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Supplier and Customer Relations: Maintain continuous contact with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and support resources to identify and resolve potential quality issues and promote ongoing quality improvement throughout the entire supply chain.
- Team Leadership: Organize and manage the Quality function within the assembly area, fostering a collaborative and proactive team culture. Provide comprehensive training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure the team is adequately equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively and efficiently
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
BASIC REQUIREMENTS <add as need>
A. EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
B. WORKING EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years in quality management within the metal-mechanical or heavy equipment manufacturing industry.
C. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, Fishbone diagrams, Lean Six Sigma, and SPC.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with ERP systems and quality management software.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
D. LANGUAGE
English Advanced.
E. OTHERS CORE COMPETENCE
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
