About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Content Developer to join our nearshore team supporting our U.S.-based partner, Securonix, a leader in next-gen security analytics. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cybersecurity and a passion for creating impactful, self-paced learning content.
You will be responsible for designing and maintaining technical training materials related to SIEM, UEBA, SOAR, data ingestion, enrichment, and incident response. Your work will directly support internal teams, customers, and partners by delivering high-quality, engaging content through LMS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity training content for various audiences and formats (microlearning, self-paced courses).
- Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, instructional materials.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales teams to align content with business goals.
- Use instructional design best practices to optimize learner experience.
- Support infrastructure and tooling for LMS and instructor-led training (ILT).
- Stay current with cybersecurity trends and integrate them into content strategy.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design within IT or cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, UEBA, or SOAR platforms.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills in English.
- Experience creating on-demand content for LMS platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR).
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, GISSP).
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell).
- Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (Zoom, WebEx, Teams).
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- Additional language skills (Spanish or Portuguese).
- Experience with tools like Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Suite, Synthesia, Canva, Captivate.
- Content editing and post-production experience (video/audio).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
Work Conditions
- Remote-first role based in Mexico.
- Must be available to work in alignment with U.S. Pacific Time Zone.
- Equipment and software licenses provided.
- Contract type and duration to be discussed (flexible options available).
