The Purchasing Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing Department, ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services required by the company. This role requires a strong command of English for communication with international suppliers, contract management, and documentation purposes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role (manufacturing industry experience is a plus).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – mandatory requirement.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of purchase orders and contracts.
- Communicate with suppliers to request quotations, confirm orders, and follow up on deliveries.
- Maintain and update supplier records, price lists, and procurement databases.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure purchase requirements are met.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service.
- Prepare purchasing reports and assist in cost analysis.
