DY Corporation is a South Korean company founded in 1978. Throughout the years DY has become a globally competitive supplier of hydro automotive components for industrial machinery mainly focused in heavy duty. DY has been expanding around different countries such as Japan, China, India, USA and Mexico.
The site in Mexico is named DY Mechatronics. It is so far one of the biggest and most important projects held by the corporation, the reason why we are very excited to work on our new team.

Role Description
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations by conducting routine inspections and patrols, identifying and mitigating risks, delivering effective training programs, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees. Conduct audits to assess compliance, provide recommendations for continuous improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance workplace safety and environmental responsibility, ensuring the company operates in a safe and sustainable manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Perform regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Detection of unsafe actions and unsafe conditions in plant.
- Assist in investigating workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in developing and conducting EHS training programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training sessions, and regulatory compliance. Prepare reports and summaries as required.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills to ensure readiness for potential environmental or safety incidents.
- Stay updated on current EHS regulations and assist in implementing necessary changes to company policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Monitoring entrance of hazardous wastes to the hazardous waste storage.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to conduct training sessions and prepare clear reports.
- Keen eye for identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Physical ability to perform fieldwork, including walking across the plant, standing for extended periods, and carrying monitoring or inspection equipment.
SAFETY COMPETENCIES
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and reduce environmental and occupational safety risks.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and the ability to act swiftly in crisis situations.
- Strong commitment to fostering a proactive culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.

Recruitment Process
Once the profile is reviewed by the HR and administration staff you will receive a call or a message from DY Mechatronics Mexico. It is a 3 step process which requires 3 different interviews. The first interview is held by phone call from the HR staff for general information and CV fact check. The second one follows up with a face to face interview in our offices with the participation of the administrative staff as well as the HR team. The last but not least interview is held with the participation of our vice-president and staff in which the final decision is made.
