Position Objective:
Ensure the accurate and timely management of local and expatriate payroll, as well as the administration of employee benefits and compensation. This includes compliance with all applicable tax, legal, and labor obligations. Additionally, this role is responsible for the preparation, monitoring, and control of the annual payroll budget and the department's operating budget. The position is key to delivering a positive employee experience through efficient, accurate, and confidential payroll and benefits processes
- Payroll Processing: Prepare, review, and process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Tax and Deduction Calculations: Ensure correct calculation of taxes, deductions, and social security contributions in line with local regulations.
- Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, vacation days, and other compensation.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve inquiries or issues related to payroll or benefits.
- Data Updates: Keep payroll and benefits records up-to-date within HR management systems.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure payroll and benefits practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
- Reporting and Audits: Generate payroll and benefits reports and support internal or external audits.
- .Create and maintain complete and updated legal files for employees.
- Collaborate with the HR team to constantly improve department processes and policies.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Languages : Intermediate English Level B-1
- Experience: Payroll processing, benefits, and compensation.
- Knowledge: Intermediate Excel, Familiarity with payroll systems and HR software, Knowledge of applicable labor and tax.
Job Dimensión: Manages payroll for over 80 local employees and more than 6 expatriates, generating 31 monthly payrolls (including regular and special) for local staff and 12 monthly payrolls for expatriates. Oversees and coordinates the payment of salaries, taxes, and benefits, working with more than 9 external providers for payroll calculation, insurance, savings fund, meal vouchers, and other institutional benefits
