To lead and supervise the daily operation of stamping lines focused on manufacturing large and thick metal components for mobile equipment. Ensure quality, production plan compliance, industrial safety, and effective leadership of the unionized team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years experience as a production leader in cold or hot steel stamping processes, working with steel presses over 1000 tons.
Proven experience in the automotive industry or mobile equipment sector (Overhead Cranes, Forklifts, Tuggers).
Advanced expertise in stamping processes, measuring tools, and quality control.
Advanced proficiency in ERP PLEX or similar systems for production tracking and order management.
Knowledge and application of problem-solving tools, Kanban, and management of mobile equipment and warehouses.

Lead and assign tasks to operational staff in the stamping area.
Monitor and optimize production parameters: OEE, scrap, cycle time, tooling changes.
Validate proper installation, adjustment, and release of dies for structural parts.
Ensure compliance with technical specifications and tolerances indicated on drawings.
Promote and maintain a culture of operational safety and 5S standards.
Prepare and present reports on production progress, absenteeism, quality incidents, and stoppages.
Train and provide feedback to staff on best practices and problem resolution.
Participate in internal and external safety, quality, and process audits.
Identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities in safety, quality, and productivity.
Generate work instructions and standardize processes for overhead cranes and forklifts.
Manage human capital, coordinate schedules and incidents.
Lead root cause analysis meetings and provide clear direction to the team.
