Senior Transport and Materials Handling Group Leader (GL SR)
Job Objective:
Lead and supervise advanced operations in the Conveyance area, ensuring optimal material flow and rigorous application of ERP systems (PLEX) and Lean methodologies (Kanban). Manage large unionized and non-unionized teams, fostering a safe environment focused on strategic results.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Over 7 years of relevant logistics and supervisory experience in the automotive sector.
Availability to rotate between 2 shifts.
Deep knowledge of logistics, process development, and TPS (Toyota Production System).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management.
Solid experience with ERP PLEX.
Extensive knowledge and application of Kanban and Just-In-Time.
Experience leading more than 5 Team Leaders and up to 40 unionized employees.
Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing applied to logistics.
Experience handling mobile equipment (forklifts, tuggers).
Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate large teams of operators in Conveyance.
Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and delivery standards.
Lead implementation and continuous improvement of Kanban and Just-In-Time systems.
Manage ERP PLEX for inventory control and management reporting.
Handle personnel issues and labor relations with Human Resources.
Develop and implement advanced training and Kaizen projects.
Supervise shipments, receiving, inventory control, and supplier evaluation.
Implement strict quality controls in logistics processes.
