Job Position: Production Manager
Location: Mexico City.
Job Objective:
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager with strong leadership capabilities and a results-driven approach to oversee operations at our automotive manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, capable of driving production goals, optimizing processes, ensuring quality standards, and maximizing efficiency while minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accomplish goals according to production plan, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage resource allocation (materials, personnel, and equipment) to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize production processes, reduce downtime, and increase operational efficiency.
- Monitor plant performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting operational plans to meet production and quality objectives.
- Lead and manage the production team, fostering a collaborative, results-driven work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth and effective production operations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in production management within the automotive industry or advanced manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills: the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented mindset: focused on achieving and exceeding production, quality, and cost goals.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions based on performance analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
· Proficiency in production management tools and inventory control systems.
