The Product Marketing Manager main responsibility is being an enabler between markets and global teams to execute and evolve the business while protecting brand equity in a local relevant way. Is responsible for managing and leading LATAM Regional Product Portfolio Optimization, Productivity and Launch Cadencing. Supporting the region in aligning consumer inspired mix with corresponding channels. Drive healthy mix between newness and basic business.
Collaborate and lead product and retail experience initiatives to drive Hero Franchises, drive reduction in returns/E&O and supporting brand objectives. Drive excellence in execution at point of sale, so that the consumer has a truly omnichannel experience. Bring new thinking to LATAM regional team and follow up by executing and evaluating performance of launches and optimizing future forecasts.
Roles and Responsibilities
Product Marketing:
• Manage Strategic Product Marketing Mix to ensure productivity, brand relevance and recruitment opportunities
• Develop and Manage strategic alignment on product marketing mix within channels including S/M, DS, Perfumery and Online to ensure relevance within channel
• Support development of tiered product marketing mix by affiliate to ensure local relevance within country product portfolio
• Attend all product marketing meetings for all brands (provide status topics, provide recaps, action items and follow up)
• Manage Launch calendars, ensuring proper alignment with NA calendar and YOY sales cadence
• Review and analyze Forecasting Recaps and building blocks to ensure forecasts support brand growth targets by affiliate (including management of phase outs to reduce returns)
• Lineup management. Ongoing revision, analysis and recommendations. Share with Global regional feedback for annual line edits and sampling offerings
• Host periodic calls with affiliates to discuss forecast follow ups and recommendations.
• Pricing strategy management, review and input into the system
• Support Special Event calendar based on marketing launches
• Support on Special Events planning and creation, manage global/regional approval process.
• Issue and review of Monthly/Quarterly recaps from all markets, all brands (Net & Retail Sales, Hero Products, Best Practices, MKT Calendars)
• Cascade and tropicalize 360 plans ensuring deployment and best practices executions.
• Be a clear guide of business status and opportunity seaker to global teams and lead strategy and approvals to affiliates.
• Consumer Engagment leadership to ensure halo effects across LATAM including strategy, follow up and execution recap.
• Lead meetings and reporting towards paid media & PR teams
