We are looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Technical Sales Engineer to manage commercial relationships with key automotive clients such as FORD, NISSAN, STELLANTIS, HONDA, PACCAR, and VOLVO. This role involves leading price negotiations, supporting financial planning, and ensuring accurate business execution in collaboration with internal and international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead negotiations with OEM clients regarding:
Price changes due to material costs or commercial agreements.
Compensation for revenue impacts caused by client-side issues.
Ensure pricing aligns with profitability KPIs and update ERP systems accordingly.
Prepare and submit RFQs and sample quotations based on client requirements.
Maintain accurate business planning aligned with signed contracts and volume commitments.
Support Finance in resolving client payment delays to ensure monthly fiscal closings.
Manage client communications via email, calls, and in-person visits, including teardown reviews.
Coordinate effectively with internal departments and overseas affiliates in English.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or commercial roles in the automotive industry.
ERP system proficiency for managing pricing and volume updates.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
High analytical capability and attention to detail.
Solid understanding of the automotive market and OEM vehicle portfolios.
Basic knowledge of metal markets (e.g., copper, steel) and electronic components.
Valid driver's license.
U.S. Visa and Passport preferred.
Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Experience managing meetings with OEM buyers and navigating complex commercial discussions.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Ability to host and manage client visits and teardown sessions on-site.
