About the role:

• Develop strategies to create a healthy and safe work environment.

• Develop applicable Safety procedures for everyone on-site to ensure the physical and material integrity of the company.

• Advise on the analysis of incident data to identify and correct the root cause.

• Develop and implement corrective and continuous improvement programs for safety.

• Perform periodic audits to prevent potential risks that could cause injuries or illnesses.

• Advise and inform of any changes in safety, health, and environmental regulations or policies.

• Handle inspections carried out by STPS, IMSS, PROFEPA, and other applicable institutions.

• Investigate all registered cases concerning industrial and asset safety, and report the results of said investigation.

• Coordinate the compilation of documents and records in accordance with legal requirements.

• Responsible for monitoring the programs of the Integrated Management System in SSMA.

• Ensure the dissemination and training of OHSAS regulations.

• Train everyone in safety to build a safety culture.

• Create and manage the annual budget for the department.

Knowledge: STPS, IMSS, PROFEPA, OHSAS 18000, ISO 9001, SSMA, Industrial Safety, PAAST

Education: Engineering or a related Bachelor's degree

Experience: 8-10 years of experience (ceramic industry is a plus)
