Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Steel Sales Representative to drive significant revenue growth in our Mexico City operation. The role requires generating $ 100,000 or more in weekly sales volume while maintaining strong profit margins through relationship-driven sales.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve weekly sales targets of $100,000+ with focus on high-margin transactions
Build strong personal relationships using text messages, phone calls, emails, and in-person visits
Share appropriate personal stories and build trust through authentic relationship-building
Monitor competitor pricing and provide market intelligence to management
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely delivery
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor pricing, purchasing patterns, and market positioning
Research and participate in relevant steel industry associations and groups
Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to management
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and customer needs
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years B2B sales experience primarily in bar but willing to expand in steel, metals, or industrial materials
Proven track record achieving $5M+ annual sales volume with high margins (15%+)
Fluent Spanish and business-level English
Strong relationship-building skills and understanding of Mexican business culture
Proficiency with CRM systems and digital communication
Knowledge of steel products, grades, and applications
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
