The Product Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and leading LATAM Regional Product Portfolio Optimization, Launch Cadencing and also to give inputs on market share data to the business. Supporting the region in aligning consumer inspired mix with corresponding channels. Drive healthy mix between newness and basic business. To make this possible this person that extract data from systems, merge data, analyses and do reports monthly (sell-in, sell-out and market data from NPD and Circana) according to the official reports that needs to be shared with key stake holders or to the campaigns and activities needed to fulfill the business with information (from sell-in, sell-out and market data).
Collaborating with the countries in the region to make them pursue the brand goals in the region by driving the correct product mix and growth is key for the operation as follow up by executing and evaluating performance of launches and optimizing future forecasts.
All the information analyzed by this person important responsibility is also reported in the IBP process, where thi person participates showing analyses, discussing with supply and marketing regional, local and global teams.
Product Marketing:
1-) FORECAST ACCURACY AND ANALYSES
- Ensure product marketing mix volumes growth and mix are correct by affiliate met regional goals by preparing analyses per country per month and hosting periodic calls with affiliates (countries) to discuss forecast follow ups and recommendations. Ensure growth of forecast to accomplish financial plan, the goal in the heroes growth and between basic and news business (NPD) and channels;
- Participate in the IBP meetings to provide overall report on heroes, franchises growth and give inputs on the meetings as well take actions when needed;
- Analyses on samples/gwps and management to accomplish maximum level of this products into the forecast as per global recommendation.
- Ensure each campaign has the righ forecast in place to met the investments and NPD deadlines follow-up to accomplish the campaign timings;
2-) INNOVATION / NPD / LAUNCHES & COMMERCIAL MOMENTS
- Manage New products Launch calendars, ensuring proper alignment with each country, supply and global team to met YOY sales cadence and correct launch date for the countries (responsible by for review forecast deadlines and volumes to guarantee timings and correct numbers)
- Lineup management and NPD process together with global. Ongoing revision, analysis and recommendations to share with Global regional feedback in monthly meetings with global team and in the innovation planning meetings;
- Issue and review of Monthly/Quarterly recaps from the launches and commercial moments at latam level;
3-) MARKET ANALYSES AND REPORTS
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly reports on sell-in / sell-out / market share (reports may be done by intern and all the analyses by the coordinator)
- Generate quarterly report of market share and discuss with all affiliates to generate the insights report for the region
- Create adhoc analyses and reports for brand director and Skincare Brand VP
- Pricing report (1 or 2 per year – intern responsibility to be managed)
4-) TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for 1 intern that gives support to this function with the main role of operate the systems and extract/merge databases and be responsible for NPD deadlines, ad hoc reports and analyses;
