The Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer implements electrical projects as the Lead Engineer for an integrated system or sub-system. The engineer provides planning, reporting, and management of the electrical project, in addition to technical implementation, taking full ownership of the electrical project elements and executing (and/or delegating) individual tasks throughout the project life cycle by coordinating and forecasting electrical resources in-house and on-site. The engineer takes a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, overall electrical architecture, and manages the scope, budget (Over-run Alert, Change Orders), and schedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical engineering support for project portfolio
Advanced knowledge of Electrical Safety Codes
Supervise and validate electrical model drawings, device layout drawings, e-stop drawings, network drawings, and schematic drawings by panel
Provide technical support to develop buyout list, configuration list, and electrical calculations
Translate customer electrical requirements into Honeywell electrical engineering solution design
Drive and lead meetings with customers
Supervise and validate buyout ordering
Set up and test electrical prototypes
Provide remote assistance and develop documentation to improve networks such as Profibus, Ethernet, EtherCAT, and X2X
Coordinate with other discipline engineering teams
Drive and coordinate design reviews (internal and with customers)
Transfer knowledge effectively
Build guidelines and documentation to ensure efficiency on project tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Mechatronics, Robotics, Control Automation, Electrical, Electronics, or similar
Advanced English, both written and spoken
Strong experience and knowledge in conveyors
Six Sigma/Green Belt knowledge
Availability to travel approximately 60% of the time
More than 10 years of industrial experience
